A festive and delicious braided pastry
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Grease 2 large baking sheets.
- Combine flour, margarine, and brandy in a large mixing bowl and blend together to make dough.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into ropes approximately ½” thick.
- Cut the ropes into 5 ‘’ strips.
- Twist 2 pieces together; shape into a ring; pinch ends together to seal.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
- Place rings a good distance apart on prepared baking sheets. Bake rings until golden, approximately 12–15 minutes.
