Apple Pudding
Instructions:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of allspice
- 1 cup of cooked appl es
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons of milk
- Cream the brown sugar and butter together and add the beaten egg.
- Sift together the cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, flour, baking soda, and salt and add to the butter/brown sugar mixture.
- Fold in the cooked apples and pour into a greased 8†X 8†X 2†baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Mix the 1/2 stick of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and the 6 tablespoons of milk together in a pot.
- Bring the sauce mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve by pouring the warm sauce over the apple pudding.
