Autumn’s Harvest Spread

- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar
- 1⁄4 cup chopped green onions
- 1⁄2 cup seedless blackberry jam
- Assorted crackers
Instructions:
This is where and when my love for autumn, food, and social gatherings began. This simple appetizer is a wonderful complement to wine.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and toast for 10 to 15 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Set aside to cool.
- Combine the mayonnaise, cream cheese, mozzarella, Cheddar, and green onions in a bowl; mix well. Spread the mixture in a shallow dish or pie plate. Refrigerate for 1 hour to set slightly.
- Remove the spread from the refrigerator, sprinkle with the toasted pecans, and spread the jam evenly over the top. Serve with crackers.
