Brandy Cocoa
Instructions:
A mellow and delicious drink for the holidays.
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
⅓ cup granulated sugar
1½ cups boiling water
4 cups whole milk
3 teaspoons brandy
- In a saucepan, scald milk.
- In another saucepan, mix cocoa, sugar, and enough boiling water to make a smooth paste.
- Add remaining water and boil 1 minute, then add to milk.
- Mix well; add brandy, then beat mixture with egg beater for 2 minutes.
- Serve in large mugs.
