Broccoli and cauliflower salad
Instructions:
- my daddy is not a huge fan of salads, but this hearty and filling
recipe is one he never refuses. It’s best if made several hours ahead
of time and stored in the refrigerator, where it keeps well for several
days.
- 1 head cauliflower, broken and sliced
- 1 head broccoli, cut up
- 2 small onions, cut and separated into rings
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Combine the vegetables in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl.
- Add the vegetables and toss to coat.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
