Cheddar cheese dumplings
Instructions:
1 pound Cheddar cheese, grated fine2 eggs, beaten1 cup all-purpose flour1 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives1 teaspoon paprika8 ounces sour cream1/2 cup butterIn large bowl, stir together cheddar cheese, chives and eggs. Mix well. Stir in flour, and salt until mixture sticks together. Drop by tablespoonfuls into rapidly boiling water. Cover and cook another 15 minutes.Drain and garnish with parsley and paprika. Serve with melted butter and sour cream.These go great in potato soup!
