Cheesy BLTs

- 1½ cups prepared roasted garlic purée
- 12 slices sourdough bread
- 24 slices jalapeño Jack cheese
- 24 slices vine-ripened tomatoes
- 24 fresh basil leaves
- 24 slices bacon, cooked crisp
Instructions:
Cheesy BLTs are perfect for parties and family get-together.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Spread the roasted garlic purée on sourdough bread and top each slice with 2 slices of cheese. Place on a baking sheet and bake until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven. Layer 6 of the bread slices with equal parts of the remaining ingredients as follows: 2 slices of tomato, 2 basil leaves, 4 slices bacon, 2 additional basil leaves, 2 remaining tomato slices, and the remaining 6 slices of cheese-topped bread. Cut on the diagonal and serve.
