Chinese Style Peanut Butter
Instructions:
- 1 Cup Raw shelled peanuts
- 3 Cup Peanut oil
- Salt; to taste
- Freshly−ground black pepper; to taste
- Heat the oil in a heavy skillet.
- When the oil is hot, add the peanuts and fry for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Drain. In a food processor, fitted with a metal blade, puree the peanuts and 2 tablespoons of the oil until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper. Remove and cool.
- This recipe yields about 1/2 cup.
