Chocolate rum sauce
Instructions:
- 2 squares (2 ounces) unsweetened chocolate;
- 1 tablespoon butter;
- 1⁄2 cup boiling water;
- 1 cup sugar;
- A pinch of salt;
- 2 tablespoons dark rum.
- In a heavy saucepan or in the top of a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the butter. Stir in the water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and add the rum.
