Cider sauce
Instructions:

Reserved juices from cooking apples (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup cider;
- 1 tablespoon butter;
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour;
- 2 tablespoons sugar.
- Combine reserved juices with the cider. Place juices and cider in a large saucepan over high heat and boil to reduce to 11⁄2 cups.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour and sugar.
- Slowly beat in the hot juices and boil 5 minutes, until thickened. Serve hot.
