Cinnamon Biscuits
Instructions:
- 1 c our
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 1/2 t baking powder
- 1 T sugar
- 1/4 c shortening
- 1/4 c plus 2 T milk
- 1 T soft margarine
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 t cinnamon
- Cut shortening into dry ingredients.
- Mix in milk with a fork until dough sticks together and follows the fork around the bowl.
- Shape into a ball and put on a oured board.
- Flatten with hands until about 1/4 inch thick.
- Spread with margarine and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Fold dough in half and pinch together edges.
- Bake on an ungreased sheet for 10 to 12 minutes at 450 degrees.
- Cut into strips and eat while warm.
