Clam supreme
Instructions:
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon cream
- 1 tablespoon clam juice (reserved from clams)
- 2 61/2 ounce cans minced clams, drained well
- 1 teaspoon onion, Wnely minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
- 1 heaping teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Dash of hot pepper sauce
- 10 brown and serve clover leaf rolls
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Chopped parsley
- Parmesan cheese
- Mix the cream cheese until light, adding the cream and clam juice slowly.
- Add minced clams, onion, garlic, parsley, and hot sauce.
- Mix until smooth.
- Cut the rolls into three sections.
- Scoop out the center of each section leaving about 1/8 inch crust on the sides and bottoms.
- Lightly butter and Wll with the clam mixture.
- This can be made a day ahead up to this point and refrigerated.
- When ready to serve, sprinkle with chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake on a cookie sheet in 350-degree oven for 10 minutes.
