Classic Balsamic Syrup

- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
Instructions:
- Mix the vinegar and the sugar together in a small saucepan.
- Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until boiling.
- Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until the mixture thickens to the consistency of syrup, stirring occasionally.
- This should take 10–15 minutes. Store in a glass jar for up to 1 month.
