What could be more satisfying than a classic burger? Here’s the way to do it right. 11â„4 pounds ground beef chuck 1â„2 teaspoon salt 1â„4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Makes 4 burgers. Prep: 5 minutes Grill: 8 minutes
- Prepare outdoor grill for direct grilling over medium-high heat.
- Shape ground beef into 4 patties, each 3â„4 inch thick, handling meat as little as possible. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper.
- Place patties on grill rack and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium or until desired doneness.
