Cranberry Sauce
Instructions:
- 1 lb. cranberries
- 1 orange, minced
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup almonds, slivered
- Simmer orange, cinnamon, cloves and water for 10 minutes.
- Add sugar and berries.
- Simmer until berries split.
- Remove from heat.
- Add brandy and almonds.
- Chill before serving.
