Delicious mushroom sauce
Instructions:
- This sauce is delicious over chicken or pork. It also works wonderfully well over pasta.
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/3 cup chicken stock
- 1 pound of sauteed mushrooms
- Dash paprika
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 cup cream
- Parsley
- Place butter into top of double boiler, and stir in flour until smooth.
- Then add hot chicken stock and mushrooms and all seasoning.
- Cook until thick, and last add beaten egg yolks and cream.
- Parsley is used for the garnish.
