Easy Strawberry Cake
Instructions:
- 1 box white cake mix plus 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/3 cups of frozen strawberries
- 1 small package strawberry Jell -O
- 2/3 cup of ve getable oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- Thaw strawberries at room temperature.
- Drain and reserve juice for frosting.
- Mix cake mix,flour, Jell -O, cooking oil, water and eggs until well mixed.
- Pour into 9 X 13 i nch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Set pan on wire rack to cool.
- For The Frosting:
- Cream softened butter and powdered sugar in mixing bowl while adding enough strawberry juice to make creamy and of spreading consistency.
- Frost cooled ca ke as desired.
