Foamy Sauce

Instructions:

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 teaspoons water

1 egg, beaten

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Combine the sugar, butter, and water in a saucepan over low heat, until well blended. Keep warm. Just before serving, stir in the beaten egg and vanilla.

MAKES ABOUT 1 CUP
