Fresh Plum, Walnut and Gorgonzola Pizza

- 12 (8-inch) whole-wheat tortillas
- 4 tablespoons (½stick) butter,melted
- 24 fresh, large plums, pitted and thinly sliced
- ¾ cup chopped walnuts
- 3 cups (18 ounces) crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
Instructions:
Fresh pears may be substituted for the plums when plums are out of season, using about 1/2 pear per pizza.
- Preheat the broiler.
- Brush the tortillas with melted butter, using about 1 teaspoon butter for each. Brown on both sides on a grill or griddle. Arrange 2 plums on top of each tortilla to cover the surface. Sprinkle with the walnuts. Sprinkle about ¼ cup of cheese on each pizza. Broil for 30 seconds to 1 minute, just until the cheese bubbles and starts to brown. Cut into quarters and serve.
