Frozen Memphis Mint Julep

- 30 fresh mint leaves
- 4 teaspoons agave nectar
- 1 ⁄2 cup Jack Daniels
- 2 tablespoons Crown Royal
- 1 tablespoon water
- 12 ice cubes
- 2 long mint sprigs, for garnish
Instructions:
This is a delicious mint julep version with a Memphis twist.
- Chill two pint-size canning jars in the freezer.
- To muddle the mint, combine the mint leaves and agave nectar at the bottom of a cup. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, crush the mint leaves until well pulverized, about 3 minutes.
- Add the Jack Daniels, Crown Royal, and water to the muddled mint and mix well. Transfer the mixture to an upright blender. Add the ice and blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
- Divide drink between two glasses and garnish each glass with a sprig of mint so your guests can get a whiff when they have a sip.
