Garlic Fried Chicken V
Instructions:
- 2, 2 1/2 pound frying chickens cut in pieces
- 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 clove of garlic, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of celery salt
- Wipe the chicken pieces with a damp cloth and store in container with tight fitting lid.
- Mix all ingredients together, pour over chicken, and let marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
- When ready to fry, drain the liquid from the chicken pieces and dredge them in flour.
- Heat some vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken pieces on all sides.
- Lower the heat and cover skillet and cook for 35 -40 minutes.
