Granola
Instructions:
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1â„2 cup raw cashews
- 1â„2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1â„2 cup wheat germ
- 1â„4 cup sesame seeds
- 1â„4 cup toasted hemp seeds
- 1â„2 tsp kosher salt
- 3â„4 cup dried, unsweetened, flaked coconut (large)
- 1â„4 cup canola oil
- 1â„4 cup apple cider
- 4 tbsp orange-blossom honey
- 1â„2 tsp natural vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Mix all the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl, stirring until the honey has dissolved. Add to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Spread evenly in two shallow baking pans. Bake until evenly golden brown, about 20 minutes, folding the browning granola from the edges into the center of the pans with a metal spatula after every 5 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and tip into an airtight container. Leave until the granola is cold, then put on the lid to seal. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Serve with fresh fruit and plain yogurt.
