Green Beans Almondine
Instructions:
- 1/4 cup slivered blanched almonds
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 - 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 cups cooked green beans
- Cook slivered almonds in butter over low heat until golden, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat; add salt and lemon juice.
- Pour over hot, cooked green beans.
- Total recipe: 600 calories, 24 grams of carbohydrate
- Per serving: 150 calories, 6 grams of carbohydrate
