Grilled Kielbasa with Creamy Mustard Sauce
Instructions:
- Make Grilled Kielbasa with Creamy Mustard Sauce when you need dinner on the table in
just a few minutes or when you’re tailgating in the stadium parking lot of your favorite
team. (Flip to Chapter 21 for more outdoor barbecue tips.)
- 1⁄4 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, drained
- Pepper to taste
- Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1 to 1 1⁄4 pounds fully cooked sausage (such as kielbasa or knackwurst)
- Prepare a medium fire in a charcoal or gas grill.
- Meanwhile, prepare the Creamy Mustard Sauce by combining the sour cream, mustard, horseradish, pepper, and Tabasco sauce (if desired) in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate.
- Slice the sausages, if necessary, into 4 pieces of equal length. Cover and arrange the sausages on a lightly oiled grill grid. Grill, turning 2 or 3 times, until well browned on all sides and warmed through, about 10 minutes.
- Divide the sausages among 4 individual plates and top each link with a generous dollop of Creamy Mustard Sauce.
