Grilled Spiced Salmon Steaks
Instructions:
Spice rubs are excellent with fresh fish that is not delicately flavored, like salmon. 1 tablespoon chili powder 2 teaspoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cumin 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons olive oil 4 salmon steaks, 3â„4 inch thick (8 ounces each) lemon wedges
Makes 4 main-dish servings. Prep: 5 minutes Grill: 8 minutes
- Prepare outdoor grill for covered direct grilling over medium heat. In cup, combine chili powder, brown sugar, cumin, thyme, salt, and oil. Use to rub on both sides of salmon steaks.
- Place salmon on grill, cover and cook until just opaque throughout, about 4 minutes per side. Serve with lemon wedges.
