Grilled trout with radish slaw
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil;
- 4 trout fillets (about 11⁄2 lb);
- 1⁄4 tsp each salt and pepper.
- Radish slaw:
- 1 cup grated radishes;
- 1 green onion, sliced;
- 1 tbsp minced fresh parlsey;
- 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar;
- 1⁄2 tsp granulated sugar;
- 1⁄4 tsp minced gingerroot;
- 1⁄4 tsp poppy seeds;
- 1⁄4 tsp each salt and pepper.
Instructions:
- Radish slaw: in bowl, mix radishes, onion, parlsey, vinegar, sugar, ginger, poppy seeds, salt and pepper; set aside.
- Brush oil over fillets; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place, skin side down, on greased grill or in grill pan over medium heat or under broiler; close lid and grill until fish flakes easily when tested, 8 to 10 minutes. Serve with slaw.
