Homemade Baked Beans

- 3 cups of white beans
- 3/4 pound of fresh salt pork
- 1 tablespoon of prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon of ground gi nger
- 2 tablespoons of molasses
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Instructions:
Soak the bean overnight. Rinse and d rain in the morning.Cover with cold water, boil for 15 minutes and drain.
- Put the beans in a buttered baking dish and add the other ingredients.
- Place the salt pork in the beans with the rind exposed and cover with boiling water.
- Bake covered at 300 degrees for 6 hours.
- Remove the cover for the last 30 minutes to brown.
