Hot caramel sauce
Instructions:
- 1 cup sugar;
- 1 cup heavy cream;
- 2 teaspoons dark corn syrup;
- 2 teaspoons butter;
- 2 teaspoons vanilla.
- Combine the sugar, heavy cream, and corn syrup in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, or until sauce is slightly thickened and light tan in color. Add the butter and vanilla. Reheat before serving.
