Italian Chili
Instructions:
- 4 Tbs. Butter
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 lb.. ground beef
- 1 jar (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- 1 can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (1lb. 14 oz.) chili beans
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 Tbs. Chili powder salt and pepper to taste
- In a heavy saucepan, cook the onions in the butter until they are tender.
- Add the beef and brown it.
- Drain off the excess fat.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients and simmer the chili for one hour.
- The chili may be served with grated cheese.
