Lord Baltimore filling
Instructions:
- 1⁄2 cup macaroon crumbs;
- 1⁄4 cup chopped toasted pecans;
- 1⁄2 teaspoon grated orange rind;
- 1⁄4 cup chopped toasted, blanched almonds;
- 12 candied cherries, cut into quarters;
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice;
- 1 tablespoon sherry;
- 1⁄2 recipe Seven-Minute Icing

- Mix the macaroon crumbs, pecans, orange rind, almonds, cherries, lemon juice, and sherry with the icing.
