Pasta Peppers Please
Instructions:
- 1 sweet red pepper, roasted, peeled and seeded
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp. ground almonds
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. cream cheese
- dash Tabasco sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 lb. cooked pasta
- fresh basil
- In blender or food processor, puree garlic.
- Blend in red pepper, half the cheese, the almonds, oils, cream cheese and hot pepper sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss with pasta.
- Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with basil and serve with white Zinfandel wine.
