Peanut Butter Cookies
Instructions:
- Butter for the baking sheets
- 1 1/3 Cup Unsifted all−purpose flour
- 1/2 Teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Stick unsalted butter ( 1/4 pound)
- 1 Cup Granulated sugar
- 1 Cup Natural unhomogenized peanut butter
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
- Lightly grease 2 baking sheets. Sift the flour with the baking soda and salt. Preheat the oven to 375 F.
- Beat the butter until soft. Gradually add the sugar and beat until creamy.
- Add the peanut butter, egg and vanilla to the butter−sugar mixture and mix until incorporated. Add the sifted flour mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Roll the dough into small balls, about 1−inch in diameter and place them on the cookie sheets. With a fork flatten each ball, then make a mark with the tines of the fork perpendicular to the first marks so you create a cross hatch pattern.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
