Pecan Pralines
Instructions:
- 1½ cup pecans, halves
- 2½ cups brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups milk
- Combine all ingredients except vanilla and pecans in a sauce pan, mix well, then cook, stirring constantly until it makes a soft ball when dropped into cold water.
- Let cool until lukewarm then add vanilla and pecan halves.
- Drop each pecan half coated with candy on wax paper and let cool.
