Pimento Cheese Dip
Instructions:
- 1 − 4 oz. can pimientos, chopped and oil reserved
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Durkee’s hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon style mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup freshly chopped parsley
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/2 lb. grated mild cheddar cheese
- 1/3 lb. grated processed American cheese
- Combine all ingredients except cheeses.
- Add grated cheeses and mix well.
- Moisten with reserved pimiento oil.
- Chill overnight to ripen flavor.
