Potato Biscuits
Instructions:
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 cup of mashed potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 2 cups plain of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Mix potatoes and butter together.
- Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk and add the honey.
- Mix the baking powder, sugar and flour together in a bowl and mix in the milk and the potato and butter mixture.
- Roll out to 3/4 inch thick on floured surface and cut the biscuits with a biscuit cutter or a floured glass.
- Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
