  Ingredients:
    • 3- to 3 1/2 -lb. carp fillet
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/2 c. flour
    • 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    • , 7 tbsp. canola oil
    • 1 lemon, sliced

How to make
Fried Carp
  • Wash fish and cut into 4 slices.
  • Sprinkle with salt and let stand for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Put flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs into 3 separate shallow bowls or pans.
  • Roll each slice of fish in flour, then eggs, then bread crumbs.
  • Heat oil in frying pan. Fry slices on one side until golden brown (about 5 minutes). Then flip the slices and fry on other side until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
  • Garnish with lemon slices and serve.
  • Preparation time: 15 minutes
  • Waiting time (for fish to marinate in salt): 1 hour
  • Cooking time: 20 minutes Serves 4
