Pour mixture into a pie crust and spot butter around top.
Cut pie crust top into strips and lattice to make a top crust.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake until crust is brown.
Hint: to prevent juice from running out of berry pies, make a paste of flour and water and spread paste around the edge of the bottom crust before adding top crust.
