Combine cucumbers, salt and onions in bowl and cover with ice cucumbers. Let stand for 2 to 3 hours or until cucumbers are crips. Add more ice if needed. Drain well.
In large kettle combine vinegar, sugar, celery seeds, mustard seed, turmeric, white pepper.
Bring to a boil and boil about 10 minutes. Add cucumbers and oniond and bring to boil again.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Store in cool place. Leave one month before eating.
