Ingredients:
2 eggs (or equivalent of egg substitute)
1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
Cooking spray
5 slices Milton’s Healthy Multi-Grain Bread, cut in half
Maple syrup or all-fruit jam
How to make
Healthy French Toast
In a bowl, beat together eggs, soy milk, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Coat a frying pan or griddle with cooking spray; heat over mediumhigh heat.
Soak bread in the egg mixture for a few seconds. Cook for a few minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
Serve with maple syrup or all-fruit jam. Makes 2-3 servings.
