SALISBURY STEAKS
Instructions:
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cans condensed beef broth
- 4 tsp cornstarch
- 2/3 cups Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cans mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 cups water
- Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, and eggs.
- Shape into 8 oval patties, each about 3/4in thick.
- Cook patties in large skillet over medium heat until brown and drain.
- Add onions, garlic, broth and mushrooms.
- Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to simmer.
- Cook another 10 minutes.
