Sausages with tomato sauce
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan.
- Add the sausages and cook for 5 minutes, or until golden underneath.
- Tuck the whole garlic cloves and thyme between the sausages.
- Turn the sausages over.
- When the sausages are well browned and cooked through, remove the pan from the heat.
- Add the vino rancio and loosen any sediment from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
- Heat the tomato sauce in a saucepan.
- Put the sausages in a serving dish.
- Spoon over some of the cooking juices and garlic.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the sausages to serve.
