Sourdough Biscuits
Instructions:
- ½ cup sourdough starter
- 2 cups flour
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup shortening
- ¾ cup milk
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Cut shortening into flour mix until it makes a crumbly mixture.
- Stir in sourdough starter with just enough milk to make a dough.
- Knead gently, roll out, cut into biscuits, and place on greased pan.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
