Squash Patties
Instructions:
- 1 1/4 cups of self -rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1 egg
- 3 cups of coarsely ground or chopped squash
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Black pepper to taste
- Combine the first 5 ingredients and be at until smooth.
- Stir in the squash, chopped onion, and black pepper.
- Drop by spoonfuls into a hot greased skillet and fry until golden brown on both sides.
