Sugar-browned potatoes
Instructions:
1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 2 pounds new potatoes, 3 tablespoons water.
Heat 1 inch salted water to boiling. Add potatoes. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and cook until tender, 20 to 25 minutes; drain.Cook and stir butter, sugar and salt in skillet over medium heat until mixture starts to turn golden brown. Remove from heat; cool slightly.Stir in water until blended. Add potatoes. Cook over low heat, turning potatoes to coat with sugar mixture. Enjoy Sugar-browned potatoes!
