Swedish Cabbage Rolls
Instructions:
- 12 Large Cabbage leaves
- ï€ ï€ 1 Pound Ground beef or turkey
- ï€ 1 Egg; beaten
- ï€ 1 Cup Rice; cooked
- ï€ 1/4 Cup Milk
- ï€ 8 Ounce Tomato sauce
- ï€ 1/4 Cup Onion; finely chopped
- ï€ 1 Tablespoon Brown sugar
- ï€ 1 Teaspoon Salt
- ï€ ï€ 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
- ï€ 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
- ï€ 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Immerse cabbage in large kettle of boiling water until limp, drain.
- ï€ Combine egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper, beef and cooked rice.
- ï€ Place about 1/4C. meat mixture in center of cabbage leaf; fold in sides and roll ends over meat. Place in crockpot.
- ï€ Combine tomato sauce with brown sugar, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce.
- ï€ Pour over cabbage rolls.
- ï€ Cover and cook on low 7−9 hours
