Swiss, Ham and Onion Pie

- 3 eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- 1¼ cups diced ham
- 1 cup diced white onion
- 1½ cups (6 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish frozen pie crust
- 2 tablespoons sliced green onions
Instructions:
Delicious cheesy ham and onion pie. Great if you have leftovers.
- Combine the eggs and half-and-half and bring to room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Whisk in the salt and pepper until well blended. Stir in the ham, onion, and cheese. Pour into the unbaked pie crust; sprinkle the top with the green onions. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is light golden brown and the center is set. Let the pie stand for 10 minutes before cutting; serve warm.
