Swiss Steak
Instructions:
- 2 lb. Round steak
- 2 1/2 cups stewed tomatoes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
- 1 tsp. Vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced,
- 2 Tbs. ketchup
- 2 Tbs. Brown sugar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 6 Tbs. Flour
- Pound about 6 Tbs. Flour into sides of steak.
- Brown steak in hot fat in a skillet.
- Add all ingredients. Cover.
- Cook over low heat or in the oven at 300 o for about 2-2 1/2 hours or until tender
- . Uncover last 15 minutes to cook down to a thick sauce.
