Thai Tom Yum Goong
Instructions:
- 1 pound Uncooked king prawns
- ï€ 1 lemon or lime\'s worth of juice
- ï€ 1 stalk fresh lemongrass
- ï€ 2 cm piece of fresh ginger don\'t use powder
- ï€ 1 can Chinese straw mushrooms
- ï€ 1 sprig fresh coriander leaves
- ï€ 1 roma tomato chopped
- ï€ 4 cloves garlic chopped
- ï€ 1/2 onion sliced
- ï€ 15 fresh red chillies
- ï€ 3 tbsp Vietnamese or Thai fish sauce
- Shell and devein prawns.
- ï€ In a big pot of water boil up the prawn heads with lemongrass, galangal, tomato, garlic, onion and chillies for one hour.
- ï€ Just before serving, add straw mushrooms, prawns, lemon juice and fish sauce.
- ï€ Garnish with coriander leaves, serve immediately.
