Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
Instructions:
These are a popular snack
1 pound fresh, large, plump
pumpkin or squash seeds
1 quart water
1⁄4 cup salt
- Bring seeds to a boil in salted water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Drain.
- Spread seeds on a cookie sheet.
- Bake in preheated 300F oven, stirring occasionally, for about 1 hour, until seeds are dry and lightly toasted. Store in an airtight container
