Tomato and basil salad
Instructions:
- Using the tip of a small knife, remove the stem and any fibrous green parts from the tops of the tomatoes.
- Peel the tomatoes like you would peel an apple.
- Cut the peeled tomatoes into slices 1⁄4-inch thick.
- Arrange on a plate.
- Season with salt.
- Pick the leaves from the basil, tearing any larger ones into small pieces.
- Dress with the oil and scatter the basil.
- Sprinkle with sherry vinegar.
